The PSP port of Tales of Eternia, an often overlooked entry in the Tales series, is actually quite
competent. However, it is a product of its time, especially in regards to how Namco's localization
team handled the opening cinematic. The image song, Flying by Garnet Crow, was replaced with an
original fantasy score, and footage was rearranged and deleted.

There exists an undub patch that restores the opening, but map hints and battle clips aren't
subtitled. This means players require either transcripts or a knowledge of Japanese, else they must
stick with the official localization--with the edited opening.

This compromise was made as a result. The uncut opening along with its original song is restored,
but the English voice acting is retained.

In addition, the PSP port has an omnipresent the battery gauge in the upper right-hand corner of
the screen. It has been often criticized by players, and so this patch also removes it.
